Tarlock Deol was a beloved member of the Yuba City community as well as a loving husband and father. His positivity and love for those around him could only be matched by his passion for soccer. To honor his memory we host the first annual Tarlock Deol Memorial Cup.

SCHEDULE/RESULTS
There are 2 groups consisting of 4 teams per group. Each team will play two games Saturday, with the winner of each group advancing to the semi-finals on Sunday. The second place teams with the highest points will also advance to the semi finals.
3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. In the event of a draw at the end of regulation in Matches 1, 2, 3, and 4, play will immediately go to a shootout to determine the match winner/loser for the following group games. The game, however, will still be recorded as a draw.
If there is a tie at the end of the group stages, the first tie-breaker will be the head to head result. The second tie-breaker will be goal differential. The third tie-breaker will be determined by the shootout result from the first games.
Games on Saturday will consist of 40 minute halves. The semi-final game will also consist of two 40 minute halves, with the final being a full 90 minute game.
Tarlock Deol Memorial Cup will be held at Fallon Sports Park at 4605 Lockhart St, Dublin, CA 94568. Exit Fallon/El Charro road from 580 and head North towards the flood lights visible from the highway. It is the same exit as the Livermore Outlets. All games will be played on Synthetic Turf fields 1 or 2. Ample parking is available inside of the park. Additionally. there is parking on Lockhart Street with a walkway directly to the fields.
Right off the Fallon/El Charro exit is the Livermore Premium outlets if you head south. If you head North, you will pass a big plaza on your left on your way to the field. Here there is a Target, Dick's sporting goods, BJ's and Panera Bread among other things.

RULES & REGISTRATION
Eligibility
Players are eligible to play if they are of Indian origin/ethnicity. All players must bring a valid government issued ID. If there is a new Indian player whose ethnicity cannot be validated by his ID, please let me know immiediately and advise the player to bring a copy of his birth certificate in case of a protest. If a team is to protest the eligibility of a player, it must be done within 15 minutes of the final whistle. All final decisions regarding player eligibility will be at the discretion of Imone Mohanta. A total of 23 players will be allowed on each roster, and each team is allowed 2 imports (players not of Indian origin) if they choose. Rosters must be submitted before the first game. Each player must be on their prospective roster before they play in any game. You can add a player to the roster at any time given he is eligible.
Check in
Each team must have a representative check in at the registration table before their first game. This person can be your captain, manager, or coach and will receive a wristband. This person will be responsible for reporting your game scores and submitting your rosters, as well as deal with any other issues; i.e. payment, protests, equipment issues, etc. Both imports must also check in before their first game to receive their wristband.
Equipment
Each team must bring 3 quality game balls. The home team will provide the match balls. All team jerseys must be identical. Shorts and socks must be matching in color. If there is a jersey conflict bibs will be provided. Synthetic turf is playable with regular molded cleats, as well as turf shoes or indoor turf shoes. Metal studs are not allowed.
Game Rules
Games on Saturday will consist of 40 minute halves. The semi-final game will also consist of two 40 minute halves, with the final being a full 90 minute game. Two, 5 minute extra time halves will commence in the event of a draw at the end of regulation in the Semi-final and Final Matches. After that, Penalty Kicks will ensue. A red card will result in an automatic ejection and a minimum 1 game ban. A violent offence will result in expulsion from the tournament. There will be unlimited substitutions allowed at the discretion of the referee.
Registration
Registration fee to enter is $250. If you are entering your team after 7/9, registration fee is $300. The entry fee goes toward subsidizing field and equipment rentals, referees, trophies, and cash prizes to 1st and 2nd place. First place will receive $1500 and second place will receive $1000! You MUST register your team to reserve your spot. We will be sending invites out to all the Indo-Fijian and Indian teams on 6/20, and will cap the number of teams at 9. Payment is accepted via PayPal, Venmo, Check, or Wells Fargo direct deposit.
